The apartments Pintur are situated in Banj on the island Pašman. Banj is one of the settlements on the island Pašman, which is a part of the Zadar archipelago ; it is connected by a regular ferryline to Biograd, and also by a ferryline from Zadar to Preko on the island Ugljan.
Situated near the "Kornati" National Park , Pašman is admired for its simple beauty of landscape surrounded by the blue sea.
There is a dozen of small islands spread around in the Pašman canal, which is at some points only 2 km wide ; this is what makes this area ideal for any kind of water sports activities, such as sailing and diving. The sea stream often changes its course, which is the reason why this sea is one of the cleanest on all of Adriatic. This ecologically preserved landscape with various sorts of aromatic and medicinal herbs, vineyards, olive-groves and fields, along with numerous sand and gravel beaches, represents the best choice for families with children, and for all those who want to spend their vacations far from the crowd and noise.

A nearby hill Bokolj offers a magnificent view of the Pašman canal as well as of "Kornati" National Park. If you drink your fill of fresh spring water in Banj, you will certainly want to return to this peaceful and beautiful place.
The town of Banj was first mentioned in 1265 in the form of Bagni. This was also the name of the island, “Insula Bagni”. The island had this name in years 1290 and 1333. The name itself derives from the Roman word Balnea which means bath (spa). Discovered Roman coins prove that Banj was inhabited in antique times and that Romans had their baths in it.
